Press Conference announcing Sandy and Alan Henry as the Recipients for the 2015 Hero of the Year Awa

The Lubbock Area Foundation will announce Sandy and Alan Henry as the 2015 Heroes of the Year. The announcement will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Science Spectrum (2579 S Loop 289) in the Reception Room across from the Exhibit Hall.

Sandy and Alan Henry have spent a lifetime of giving service to the Lubbock community. The University Medical Center (UMC) is the lead sponsor for this Year’s Hero’s Luncheon. UMC will be celebrating Sandy and Alan Henry’s legacy with others in the community for their unique contribution to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The Lubbock Area Foundation gives $1,100,000 annually in community grants for projects, scholarships and local nonprofit causes.
