Community Foundation of West Texas and Parkhill, Smith and Cooper Grants $107,000 to West Texas Area
On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, the Community Foundation of West Texas and Parkhill, Smith and Cooper announced grants to 11 agencies across Texas. The press conference was held at the future location of the New Legacy Home for Women at 3003 Avenue J (at the corner of 30th Street and Avenue J) at 10:00am. These gifts are made possible through the Parkhill, Smith and Cooper Building Community Funds.
Parkhill, Smith and Cooper, Inc. (PSC) created the PSC Building Community Fund with the following purpose and principles in mind:
Enhance their awareness of community needs
Invest in making their communities more vibrant
Reinforce their responsibility to be corporate stewards in their communities
Share their Time - Talent - Treasure
Establish PSC as a "community leader"
Encourage recruiting and retention for PSC and their profession
Recognize that giving back is PSC's expression of gratitude
