CFWT Scholarship Spotlight: Andrea Ramos

The 2022 Girl Scout Gold Star Scholarship recipient is Andrea Ramos. Andrea graduated from UTRGV Mathematics & Science Academy this year and will major in Integrated Health Science at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Andrea wrote, "I hope to become a physician and use my knowledge to improve people's health and contribute to biomedical research."

Andrea's accomplishments include the Gold Award, Top 10 Student, and the UTRGV President's List. Andrea has volunteered with organizations like the Harlingen Medical Center, the US Department of Veteran's Affairs, and as a Girl Scout Camp Counselor. When Andrea isn't reading about the latest developments in biomedical research and public health--she enjoys baking, reading, and crafting.
