CFWT Scholarship Spotlight: Meredith McGee

The 2021 Burleson Centennial High School graduate Meredith McGee is now attending Texas A&M University studying engineering. Meredith says she has “always enjoyed math, and I am very interested in AI. My father and I work together on many projects.” Meredith is interested in the reliability of AI and the study of data science in her future career.


Meredith’s high school activities included NHS, Student Council, STEM Club, and CHS dance and drill team. Meredith volunteered at First Baptist Burleson, Keep Burleson Beautiful, Kids Eat Free, and many other organizations.


Meredith wrote, “I can not wait to be there and start my college career. This scholarship is allowing me to work less hours, and I will be able to focus on my studies while navigating my first semester of college.”
